Structured blend Syrah with cab franc and petit Verdot. Not as approachable as I would have thought at this point.

Deep ruby with medium cherry undertones. Huge nose of cherries, blackberries, vanilla, and floral aromas. This is a big boy. Everything about this wine is big, which can get out of control quickly. Not here however, there’s a level of refinement and finesse that so many bottles can’t achieve. There’s also a cleanness and purity of the fruit that is remarkable. The blend of Syrah, Cab Franc, and Petit Verdot is such a strange and beautiful move and it works so well. More clean fruit on the palate with dark fruits, a hint of strawberry, mint, smoky tobacco, and even a little leather. Big and beautiful, this is a bruiser of a wine.

This really drinks like a sub $20 bottle. It might just be my pallette, but it’s just not there. Why do people like this? Is it better at the vineyard? The acidity level is off the charts. Seriously, if you are not drinking this at the vineyard itself where they can personally vouch for this to your face, do not trust other reviews about this. It tastes like all the leftovers from all their other wines thrown into one and then they markup the price to you the unsuspecting customer. Don’t be fooled people. Pass on this.

I don't know why his is rated so high. The initial taste after I opened the bottle was really off on the ph, like not acidic at all. I had to let it sit for 1 hr to become drinkable. It's not bad, but I really would not get this again. It's like a sub $14 wine to me. Maybe it's better at the tasting room, but I had it delivered to me, and I would not repeat.

Take a small majority of Syrah, add a very heathy dose of Petit Verdot and complete with Cabernet Franc and this is what you get!

The nose is completely intoxicating. Firm tannins. Long finish. Should have held longer. Will be great in 2-4 years.

Excellent! A perfumed nose of baking spice, vanilla, lavender and honey. This eloquently followed through to the palate. I was so pleased, because I was smelling this, only hoping that it would carry through, and it did.

Every time I drink one of the "blends," I can't help but think of
@David Trumper telling me to drink more widely.
