Rich. still deep garnet with orange rim. cassis, blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, touch of coffee. dry, mid acidity and mid thick but well grained tannin. So rich, bitterness faded and window has opened but still can age. Abv as high as 16.5% but not felt boredom nor fatigue.

Potentially opened this a bit too old. Celeriac and musty raisins on the nose. Lively acidity. Medium full body. Dense sweetness, buried in earth. Certainly distinctive.
