Valpolicella Superiore Corvina Blend

Superiore designation requires grapes to be harvested at higher sugar level. Medium Ruby with aromas of wild berry fruits and earthy herb spice, made from mostly Corvina grapes. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, cranberry, dried herbs and nutty notes. Medium body with lively acidity, fine tannins on medium finish ending with cacao and ripe fruit. Drink to enjoy now, minimal aging benefit. Good value!

Delightful bright, sweet red fruits, with a few dried fruit notes mixed in, touch of black licorice, and herbs for balance. Silky w smooth tannins. Fantastic w sausage pizza.

Tobacco and blackberry notes. Good to sip alone and paired well with a wide variety of meat dishes.

This was very acidic for me. I fell asleep and forgot to cork it so let it breathe for a day and now it’s good. But when I open a wine... I want it then :)

Yum. My 2020 last minute discovery.

Not sure we’ve ever had Valpo before. Big fan.
