Tastes much better after airing for a while. Very oaky. Hardly any metallic aftertaste (which I've run into a lot, unfortunately, with #clubw wines). Tender grape on the front that "whooshes" down the back with some tingles. It's a fairly inexpensive #tablewine if you're looking for laid-back, French import. — 10 years ago
Great color--ruby red. Hints of smoking burger. Not too much action throughout; a very smooth black cherry, which moves over the palate nicely. Leaves quickly, but then returns with a buttery oak at the back. Nothing outstanding; what is outstanding is the fact that this wine runs just around $3. For that little money, it's worth the buy. At the very least, you can make it a bath soak. #inexpensive #budgetwine #cabernetsauvignon — 10 years ago
Eric the Red is described as "taming" the Foch in this wine and that's exactly how it tastes: a bold red bridled, like a stallion that one takes on leisure trail walks--you can tell there is something big in this wine, but it's being held back. And I think it's because of that that I feel this wine isn't living up to it's full potential. Let the beast roam free--some may want to ride the unbroken horse. — 10 years ago
A yummy local wine. Not too sweet and a good balance on the palate. Lots of blackberry, cherry, and raspberry. For only $10, this is an #inexpensive and #drinkable wine that'll go well with almost anything at any #budget. — 10 years ago
This was an anniversary gift. Tasty champagne--slightly fruity with a warming finish. Pears and apples. — 10 years ago
Local red. A blend of grapes made for the Midwest. This is not too sweet and not too fruity; smooth all the way through. Lots of red fruits, both dark and light; a little jammy. Great evening wine. #biodynamic #localwine — 10 years ago
Not a bad Riesling, but not fantastic. This goes great with anything chicken-and-lime. Lots of yellow apples and green olive. #clubw — 10 years ago
Aaron Cole
Nice dark color. Plays on the front of the tongue after going down. Dark chocolate (think 80%); more earthy than fruity. Some damp stem. Black leather. Pipe smoke. Good for a #rainyday. — 9 years ago
