This is a very delicious wine. It is very full bodied and well balanced. It is a pleasant wine with not a lot of harsh tannins. SMOOTHE! It is the favorite in our group. I will say that the 2011 vintage is to die for. — 7 years ago
This is a special wine. Forward fruity flavor. Goes well with strawberry rhubarb pie. Spices and full bodied. Delicious. — 8 years ago
Wine Spectator #8 wine of the year. — 6 years ago
This is a very fine smooth wine. It is full bodied and well balanced. Notes of black berry and lots of pepper which come on after the fruit taste. He came in second in our house wine tasting competition only behind the 2013 Erath Dundee Hill. — 7 years ago

Fine wine that will please most people. Not too dry or sweet. Nothing special but again would be pleasing to most folks. Went well with the cheese crackers and smoked salmon appetizers we had. — 8 years ago

I am reviewing the Dundee estates version. It was overpriced at $45. It was pale with a neutral appeal. It was very astringent and tart with a long aftertaste. It was OK but would hate to pay even 15 dollars or this wine. We could have gotten a corked bottle but I don't think so. — 7 years ago
This is good wine for a five Buck Chuck at Trader Joe's. Can't beat it for that Price. It is a bit astringent, harsh with a long finish. There are worse wines for much more money. — 7 years ago
