Lovely 2008 Barbaresco that I purchased after an hour or two sipping vertical flights at the Ceretto tasting room. It is lovely. Delicate but present tannins, wonderful cherry character, some earthy notes on the end. Not crazily complex, but happily not a tannic monster. It’s a joyful, elegant friend I’d love to spend time with every day from Oct-April. Paired nicely with a dinner of polenta bathed in porcini and shitakes. Happy, happy. If you want a sinister Bordeaux to knock you on your backside, this isn’t for you. Which leaves more for me! — 4 years ago
This is one of my favorite Beaujolais that I’ve had. I should note I live in the US, where Beaujolais is far and few between. This has lovely, slightly dark fruits, a happy wine. Not a lot of structure, but I wouldn’t expect that in Beaujolais. I can’t seem to find it in the US, or I’d buy some. — 4 years ago
I had this a few nights ago. I did not decant. My memory of precise flavor profile is not great, but lovely dark fruits, nice in the mouth, decent finish. If you like your burgundy bone dry, this isn’t for you. I really enjoyed it and think it’s very good quality at its price point. I’ll purchase again. — 4 years ago
Purchased at Bassins in DC as a half bottle. Nice, very dark fruits. Pretty smooth. Enjoyable although youngish (2016). — 4 years ago
Nice, juicy, pleasant Pinot. Not too complex but rich for an Oregon Pinot and fun — 4 years ago
Lovely Riesling with a good balance of fruit and acidity. Purchased at Cork and Fork. — 4 years ago

Really fantastic with food. Wonderful cherry notes without being in any way cloying. Or at least with mushrooms braised extensively with garlic and the wine, and halibut. Would definitely buy again. — a year ago
