This one really rubs me the wrong way. I love Viognier, but this ultra-acidy expression is not to my taste. Also, I'm getting a lot of oak on this. Am I right? The earthy roundness coupled with the mid-palette sweetness is unctuous. I'm gonna put this one on my list of don'ts along with South African Chenin Blanc and New Zealand Sauvingon Blancs. Sorry 'bout it. — 10 years ago
Everyone I know who has tried this has loved it. Perfect with tapas. Pretty bold for drinking on it's own, but I do it all the time anyway. — 10 years ago
My favorite medium-full bodied white. Perfect for quiche, pork, Swiss cheese. Citrusy on the tongue at first with a long, creamy mid-palette finish. Delicious! — 10 years ago
Mmm. Black tea and stone fruit. Heavy tannins. Earthy, medium body. I'm trying a lot more Italian wines lately because I don't know anything about them and this is nice. Maybe good with Salade Niçoise? — 10 years ago
This is a fun one to share with folks who aren't super into wine as I feel it's got a delicious sweetness and a super crisp mineral ting on the palette. Like if someone approaches all white wines like they're Pinot grigios or Chardonnays, they're definitely not expecting the zip and acid finish that this one packs. Hello, Helen! — 10 years ago
Totes good. Let it breath, though. — 10 years ago
Nice one. Dry with high acidity. Lemony tang with some honey on the nose. I'll be coming back. Also, the label's pretty. — 10 years ago
Cheap 'n' dry. Versatile with food and not a boring Pinot Grigio. — 10 years ago
This was one I absolutely loved back I 2008 or so. I could get it for $17, which for me qualifies as "special-treat level." I'd not tasted a red so light and ethereal before. It really opened my eyes. I can't find it anymore and don't know much about its longevity if I did happen upon it again. — 10 years ago

A surprise! One of the more robust un-oaked whites I've had. Apricots, grass, and melon. Very balanced. — 10 years ago
