Basically ok - fruity but not too much, some tannins, a bit “fizzy” on the tongue. Fine for everyday drinking but nothing to write home about. — 5 years ago
Absolutely gorgeous. Decant for 2 hours to bring out the velvety full body of this complex Barolo. Great with beef or on its own. — 5 years ago

This vintage stills tastes very young - needs a LOT of breathing. It finally tasted mellow and rounded the next day! When first opened it was quite sharp and acidic. The next day the smoky fruitiness emerged and tasted lovely. Maybe one to cellar for a few more years. — 5 years ago
More acidity on first taste than I was expecting but that is probably down to the beautifully fresh cherry notes. The taste then evolves on the palate, bringing out the American oak barrels in the form of a long aftertaste, smoky leather mixed with a zing of citrus. — 5 years ago
Too much jammy and raisin fruitiness for me - almost on the sweet side — 5 years ago
Less impressed than others, I found this bottle a little sour for my tastes. Didn’t soften even after 2 hours decanting or the next day. — 5 years ago
Really lovely easy drinking red, with soft fruit and moderate tannins. Goes down a treat. — 5 years ago
Quite acidic, peppery notes with fresh red fruit flavours that linger — 5 years ago
