Very nice. Enjoy the bottle and story regarding their roots/ method. The nose is pleasant. There are dark fruit notes like sour plum and blackberries. You also get some light hints of the oak barrels they used for aging. The taste is velvety with a light body. A little bit of tart, tannin, and sweetness. The finish is pretty long with a pleasant oak vanilla, and berry taste. Would drink again. — 8 years ago

The 18% abv is noticeable right up front. The nose is pretty straight forward, a hit of fresh light fruit, almonds, and the alcohol, sweet but slightly overpowering the other smells. The body is nice, it has a very fine creamieness that gives an almost velvety feel. Tastes of apple and sharp fresh fruit on the palette, with an under ripe plum/apricot finish that lingers for a good while after swallowing. Very good overall. — 8 years ago
