For the price this wine is a let down. Its not refined. Its not balanced. Its not enjoyable on the planet. — 4 years ago
This "Rivetto" Barolo is close to exquisite. It is very well balance tannsn to fruit. If has soft acidity and ample fruit. It smooth on the pallet. This Rivetto is from Serralunga A'alba, one of Barolo's primer growing districts. It comes an texture are beautiful. I'm buying more. — 4 years ago
Very good Chablis. Excellent price for a 1er Crue. Classic Chablis. — 4 years ago
Drinking beautifully. Just what one should expect from a 2013 Barolo from Perno. Color, balance, fruit to tannan, freshness, sipping and strength to food. — 4 years ago
If you love Barolo, as I do, don't buy this one. I purchased a 2010 vintage some time ago and it was just a mediocre. A wine supplier I use advised his clients that the 2016 was very good. Do since it was price right I bought some. I opened a bottle about 5 hours ago and am now having a glass. The color is good. It has good legs on the glass. But the nose is unappealing. It smells chemically and wet grass. The palate is bitter. The wine is thin. It it has little body, and no depth. And leaves an unpleasant after taste. — 4 years ago
The tannins override the balance. Not much fruit.
Breath for at least two hours. — 4 years ago
Fruity, not dense, highly alcoholic, purple in color. Its easy to drink. If you can take 15.7% alcohol it's an ok light wine with little character. I won't by it again. Not worth the price in any case! — 4 years ago
High 15% alcohol. Purple (young) color. Light body. Low depth. 100% Timto Fino grape varietal. Not unpleasant. Had some fruit. Low Tannin. Wine is from Spain, Ribera Del Duero region. Really not similar at all to Rioja & Temperanilo grape. Probably will not buy again. — 4 years ago
This is actually a Zinfandel. The description is wrong. The grapes are from the oldest Zinfandel vines in California. The wine has an explosive beaque. The color is deep purple. When it hits your pallet it is full of fruit with low acidity. It's body structure is only medium however. And the alcohol content is very high at 15.5 percent; which is what I believe gives the wine such an explosive nose. It also gave me a heck of a headache. The longer I decanted it the better it became. I'm confident it can rest another year or two and improve. — 4 years ago

Very pleasant, epically for a 2014. It is drinking delightfully right now- 2/25/21. Everything I look for in a Brunello de Multicano — 4 years ago
