Fruity, not dense, highly alcoholic, purple in color. Its easy to drink. If you can take 15.7% alcohol it's an ok light wine with little character. I won't by it again. Not worth the price in any case!

Feb 14th, 2021The wine is very alcoholic, 15.7%. The vintage, 2017 should rest for at least two years. The opening nose is big, pushed primarily by the high alcohol. The color is deep purple. The vertical blend is a bit indistinguishable, although my first impression was zinfandel. The node was peppery and full of berries. Specifically raspberry. It has a lot of body although it is a very tipycall University of Davis methodology wine.
