Solid if not spectacular Argentinian Cabernet. It needs time out of the bottle to settle down, but after an hour or so it was very good. Typical South American earthiness and balance. Very good value at $15; I'd buy it again. — 9 years ago
Wonderful medium weight Barolo. Opens up nicely within 1-2 hours, and pairs really well with Italian food. Great value in the Barolo realm. — 9 years ago
Fantastic, crisp white. Great with fish and seafood. Shared the bottle with two women, and all three of us thought it was a knockout with our sea bass, prawns and squid. — 8 years ago
Okay but a long way from really good. We could taste the alcohol even two hours after opening the bottle. It settled down a bit later into the evening, but we were disappointed with this vintage, as we really enjoyed the 2000 vintage several years ago. — 9 years ago
About as good as it gets for a Washington Cab. We opened the 2008 for New Year's Eve several hours in advance to let it oxidize, and the result was fantastic. — 9 years ago
Very well balanced with dry tannins. Needs an hour or two to aerate, but an outstanding value. — 8 years ago
Outstanding. Somewhat fruit forward, and extremely well balanced. The Walla Walla Cabernet is a terrific value, and I would easily compare it to Napa Cabernets going for $75-$100. — 9 years ago
Powerful Cabernet. Opened the 2003 for New Year's Eve and let it breathe for several hours before enjoying. It was thoroughly enjoyable that evening and even better 24 hours later. A classic wine. — 9 years ago
You need to let this wine breathe for at least two hours before enjoying it. Nicely balanced, and the cherry and dark fruit lead to a long finish. Great with a piece of salmon or a steak...very versatile. — 9 years ago

Outstanding red, and drinkable relatively quickly. I opted for a pricier red that was sold out and "settled" for this. I paired it with oxtail and lamb, and I found it to be a first-rate value. Why can't we get Portuguese reds like this in the US? I highly recommend it. — 8 years ago
