This wine definitely has a chunky / chewy texture that explodes ok the palate. Sweet raisinated quality that delivers an oxidative sweetness, with a flash of light baking spice. Delightfully floral on the palate: elderflower / gardenia - sweet, fresh, white flowers.

Great medium/med+ acid, bright red fruits, and a smoky, borderline offensive cured meat essence on the nose. Wonderful mushroom / decaying forest floor undertones to go along with the tart cherry / raspberry. — 9 years ago
