Aug 2nd, 2016Baked apple & cider, butterscotch, yeast, cacao nose. Lively effervescence, caramel, brioche, medium acid, and nice underripe apple. This wine definitely has a chunky / chewy texture that explodes ok the palate. Sweet raisinated quality that delivers an oxidative sweetness, with a flash of light baking spice. Delightfully floral on the palate: elderflower / gardenia - sweet, fresh, white flowers.
Great with liver, foie, terrines, apple pie ala mode.
