Surprisingly still alive! Smells like it’s a well oaked Chardonnay, with initial ties of cinnamon apple sauce, baked citrus (maybe key lime pie?), and some syrup like preserves. A DEEP surprisingly gold color, light to medium body with hues of green to the edges. Palate definitely reflects the age but doesn’t come off like a Riesling, with hints of tart apple, flat sprite, same baked notes and @Tiva Feltman said even a little cough syrup-y. Very surprising for an old Riesling, one not meant for age. — a month ago
Peach cobbler nose, cinnamon, baked pie crust, maybe some baked pears on the nose. Palate is medium, dry, with the same baked pear notes, apple pie, and maybe even some brûléed lemon. — a month ago

Light golden color with bubbles that quickly subsided in the glass, though the effervescence remained. Medium bodied with a light nose of yellow fruit, some stone fruit, cumquat, and wet stone. The palate is off dry, with good Chenin character and minerality. Crisp yellow fruit and a looong dry finish that emerges and stays mid-palate with fruit for a while after the sip. Good juice! — 11 days ago
First Anne Arundel County wine, with merlot out front driving, cab franc running the wheels and a bit of petit Verdot and cab sav taking up the rear. Medium bodied, with pale maroon hues, with hints of red leather towards the edges. The nose is pungent, with notes of tire rubber, brandy, dark fruits and maybe some coca, with some velvety, silky, slightly mall-lactic like hints. Slightly green, vegetal notes on the palate alongside the dark fruits prominent, with grippy tannins and more coca and maybe a little slate, but a short finish that ends to quick. — a month ago

Pale green/yellow color, with a surprising medium body, slight oxidation, vegetal and grassy nose with some slight peppery hints that just keeps evolving with a strong minerality, slightly creamy palate and a long dry finish. — 19 days ago

Thanksgiving dessert wine paired with pumpkin and apple pie, the color is a kind of dark fog color, definitely showing its age, with some coppery hints to the edges. Medium to silky full on the body, with dessert focused notes of butterscotch, fig preserves, slight vanilla, raspberry compote and fresh baked goods notes, like an amazing fig newton. Sweet palate, with more fig newton, vanilla, cinnamon, orange, caramel and apple pie. A perfect pairing! — 5 days ago
