Bought this many years ago for a bargain price. Admittedly it's a "suspect" bottle given the producer/bottler but I'm duly impressed. Scents of grilled beef, mushroom, and cranberry fruit. If anything, it's unbalanced and shows too much acid but I'm not complaining. — 10 years ago

Spectacular quality in a wine that is neither green nor over-ripe. Tannins are soft, mouthfeel is the right amount of full and acidity is a notch above medium keeping the wine fresh. Black cherry, plum, leather, bay leaf and a hint of cocoa. The wine is clean and classic and should continue to evolve nicely over the next few years, good thing I have three more bottles! — 10 years ago
