1st note is this was NOT at all what I think of as a stereotypical Chateauneuf-du-pape - but thought it was great with with the steak we had. Am bad with descriptions but - Full bodied with a surprising slight sweetness (lingon/boysenberry?). Very nice will get another bottle - hard to describe but well worth it — a year ago
