Coudoulet de Beaucastel Cotes-du-Rhone Red Rhone Blend
Lovely Cotes du Rhone blend of Grenache (40%), Mourvèdre (30%), Syrah (20%) and Cinsault (10%). Dark (almost purple) color. Nose is full of cooked red and black berry fruit, violets and baking spices. Cooked red fruits, blackberries and plums dominate the pallet. The baking spices are also present on the finish. Ample acidity and tannins. Plush and generous. Velvety smooth. Excellent!

Jul 28th, 2019I took a guess that this #beaucastel “Coudoulet,” which was a third of the price of their renowned CdP in a fine restaurant wine list, would still be awesome. No surprise the excellence of this Château carries through here - elegant fruit-forward #cotesdurhone, velvety tannins and herbs + spice touches. Delicious wine paired with coriander lamb chops.

Jul 6th, 2019Dark purple color, fresh, ripe, yet beautifully balanced redfruits, this is absolutely drinkable now, but great structure should allow it to age well for 20+ years with ease!!
