Gotta tell you. I was surprised on how much this bad boy had left after 13yrs. Always loved Behrens Hitchcock wines and bough this one...so glad o did. So big, so ripe almost amarone-like. I love this wine! — 6 years ago

Wine is certainly past it’s price . Has a definite licorice on the nose and not much red fruit on the pallet. black tea and leather come to mind but the wine is enjoyable and still in balance at age 19. During yesterday! — 6 years ago
