Enjoyed this Barolo at St. Elmo’s steakhouse. Nice body, a hint of spice, smooth finish — 5 years ago

Nice traditional Italian Barolo, 2012 vintage. Opens up a bit after about 30 - 45 minutes. — 5 years ago

I really enjoy a nice Carmenere having been introduced to this varietal on business trips to Chile. Typically a great complement to grilled meats, this somewhat young Carmenere (2020 vintage) did not disappoint! Ripe berries but with just a touch of a oeppery finish is a nice pairing with the flank steak, grilled Serranos, roasted sweet potatoes and chimichurri sauce we had for dinner. Not sure how much variety there is between vintages but the 2020 seems like a good one! — 3 months ago
