A bit hot, with air its bloomed off- more black blue fruit here; boysenberry and blueberry; Cab Franc gives a green tinge to it, and grounds it-- woody and stewy. It is a rich wine. Elegant presentation. — 3 months ago
Have had 2010 & 2015 Vintages as well, the Malbec ratio goes up with the '17: still as excellent as the others-- intense fruit but fresh; great structure--I enjoyed it too quickly but I think more air would have brought out more within... superb! — 3 months ago
Outstanding.
Layers and layers; more time in oak has provided sublime boysenberry cassis and raspberry intermingled with clove and cinnamon and a distinct vanilla-coffee-cocoa aroma that is exquisite. 100% Banger of a wine. — 14 days ago
Super refreshing a crisp-- a granny smith tart delight. Absolutely crushing it with the malic acid balance to very dry RS ...clean finish with a little mineral sea water and perhaps a hint of passionfruit. — 2 months ago
Awesome. Really stunning red/black/purple fruits-- some fig and candied blackberry. Cassis. Wild mountain thyme. Plush tannin, good balance of concentration and acidity. An easy-drinking Cabernet at a great price. Pair with steak or roast. — 3 months ago
Opened too young; lovely and exceptionally made wine. Brickish red/brown. I let decant for a loooong time. Lots of cranberry and red fruit, some herbs, clay, faint cedar and tobacco. The acidity was med-high, but the tannins really softened out with aeration. I'd say this is still developing flavors and will be 95+ in a decade. — 3 months ago
Outstanding single vineyard Owen from Casarena in the heart of Mendoza.
Plush and full after plenty if air.
Dark cassis flavors intermingled with little bits of clove and pepper. More acid at first open, like an Alexander Valley. After blooming it's softened. Luscious and excellent. — 2 months ago
Opened up nice; a full bodied Cabernet with tons of length, big aromas of cassis and boysenberry, bits of red raspberry or strawberry, cocoa powder and rosemary butter. It is rich and powerful on palate with more acid than typical Napa which is really fresh, but it is still rich and bold. — 3 months ago
Excellent entry level RRV pinot-- with air its really opened up to lots of red cherries and pomegranate with hints of lavender and rose, some rosemary even. Zippy acidity and mellow bodied, very drinkable could pair with lots. — 3 months ago

Best Cabernet I've had to date. Pricey, worth it. Second would be Heitz C91.
This Thomas Rivers Brown masterpiece is like sinking into a well loved leather clad Attorondak and being hugged by boysenberry, cassis, earl gray, coffee, cream, graphite and baking spice. All in perfect harmony. An incredible wine from Napa that makes me realize it's significance in producing A+ fruit, with A+ execution from a master. — 14 days ago
