This Loire-inspired Chenin from Paso Robles has plenty of citrus and oak on the nose. It takes like lemon rind and wet stone with the tiniest hint of fresh peach. It’s very dry at the beginning, but I get a little sweetness at the very end. — 7 years ago
Sometimes I love Chenin and sometimes not. This is in the former category. The aromatic nose whiffs of apple, honey, citrus and funk. On the palate, it’s rich with a mineral tang. — 7 years ago
I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily. — 7 years ago

Smells and tastes like citrus, river rock and gooseberry. Good value and all too easy to drink. — 6 years ago
