I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily.

Nice light gold color. Bright fruit mixed with a hint of petrol on the nose. In good shape, just not very interesting. A crowd pleaser, but was hoping for a bit more.
