What a true delight and contains what I love in Napa Cabernets. Sweet oak aromas, black berry, full body with an earthy stone taste on the tongue. Beautiful oak and full flavor that hangs on the palate. An absolute enjoyment, but cannot wait to see what is hidden a few years down the road. — 9 years ago
Fantastic to find and drink from a 2014. Opens with smooth tannins and scents of oak and black currant. Fantastic with 2 hour decant. Venge is an amazing winery the continues to produce delectable wines year after year. The Bone Ash has to be the pinnacle of their Cabs, strong and beautiful Napa Cabernet. Cannot wait to see this wine in 5 and 10 years. — 8 years ago
A very good Nickel & Nickel, smooth but tastes young. Another 5 years and it's going to be delicious. The 2012 N&Ns are opening very well this year. — 9 years ago
Domaine Carneros produces a very delicious Pinot Noir, and this is another one of their classics. Light ruby color, strong notes of cherry and black berry. No decanting, but improved with aerating in the glass. Delicious bottle. — 9 years ago
Absolutely love Amizetta, great winery above Lake Hennesy and just a hair too low to be called a Howell Mountain. The Clark family produce phenomenal cabernets year after year. This particular vintage is young but delivers a delicious fruity flavor with an oaky, vanilla spice on the nose. The tannins mellow drastically with aeration and time. I personally have a hard time waiting for that first glass, so by the second or third, it is right on time. Deep red bordering on purple make it seductive in a glass. — 8 years ago
So happy to enjoy this vintage in my own home. First enjoyed this at Chateau Montelena for their 40th anniversary. Dry flavor with notes of raspberry and cherry. Slight oak scent with swirling that loosened the tannins yet held to great structure and smoothness. An incredibly aged wine that is at its peak. — 8 years ago
What a delicious Cabernet at this value. Still extremely young, might do better with 2 to 3 years age. Lighter fruit then a typical Napa cab, light oak flavor, smooth tannins. — 9 years ago

Beautiful wine. The age really mellowed the wine to a delicious cherry, mineral background. Tobacco and twisted oak lingers on the nose, this has held its age well. Definitely peaking, wouldn't get the same experience in another year or so. — 7 years ago
