Wow, what an interesting wine. Light golden in color. Slightly sour yeasty notes on the nose followed by Meyer lemon, grapefruit and tropical fruit. Tastes like a Meyer caramelized meyer lemon tart surrounded by macerated pineapple or grapefruit. Creamy and dessert-like, yet still dry. High acid balances the cream. — 9 years ago
Slightly lighter in color than the northern Rhone Syrah, but still dark ruby. Much more fruit in the nose and on the palate. Full and aromatic without earth but with spice. A lot of blackberry, a little currant, clove, tobacco and pepper. — 9 years ago
Beautiful aromas - apricot, richer than the dry muscat. Rich with spice. — 9 years ago
Straw in color with green reflections. Meyer lemon, grapefruit and lime. Green - lemongrass. High acid, bright. Very straightforward Sauvignon blanc. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby in color. Definitely needs at least an hour to open up. Black berries with a little black pepper. Light notes of vanilla on finish. Well-balanced, but not super interesting. Would be much better with food than on its own. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby red - can't see through it - with red highlights. On the nose, dark berries overshadowed by earthy-herbaceous aromas. Smells of clove and dried woody herbs. Seemingly no fruit in the palate, very savory. Falls a bit flat. — 9 years ago
Pale straw yellow. Very aromatic - apricot and peach blossom. A yeasty sour smell. Some liberality. Strange mouth experience - Sweet yet dry. Super light on palate. Intriguing, but not for me. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby in color. Fruit-forward with black cherry preserves and mocha-vanilla notes. Well-balanced acidity and tannin. Not very earthy or herbaceous, although perhaps a hint of licorice. — 9 years ago
Not nearly as dark in color as the California or French syrahs. Weirdly looked more like a pinot noir, almost. Sweet aromas - ripe black cherry and red raspberry with vanilla and caramel. Little spice or earth. Light on the palate, too. — 9 years ago

Beautiful. On the nose, Apple and grapefruit with minerality. Would think Sancerre Sauvignon blanc, but then the creamy palate sends you in another direction. Less zest, more felt. — 9 years ago
