Elegant and luscious with a little CO2... perfect with a Risotto cooked in the same wine and seasoned with butter and sea salt — 10 years ago
Lovely nose of red berries, spices and tabacco. Fully matured, soft tannins, great to drink soon — 10 years ago
More then an honour to enjoy the 1999 Schubert Cabernet Franc from New Zealand. Telling thousand of stories. Opened the wine to a great time for my impression but still well drinkable for some more years. Ripe fruit and little acidity for freshness then lots of savoury characters, pepper, spices, lovage, gamy and earthy notes. Perfect harmony, warm, welcoming, lots of structure and a good amount of fine tannins. The stories still do not end... long lasting finish... great, first class wine making... — 10 years ago

Crazy and intensely beautiful! Tremendous amount of ripe fruit, present cedar and animalistic notes. Hints of crystallised oranges, olives and raisins. Velvety, profound, long lasting finish. Precious last bottle empty. — 9 years ago
