At first the new oak made the wine a little disjointed, too much smoke. After an hour, it seemed a little better. I would suggest decanting. But I don’t think the oak is ever going to fully integrate. — 7 years ago

Not fully expressive on the nose, but a hint of graphite and leather. Very intense spice and fruit flavors and long finish with sweet tannins. — 7 years ago
