Needs time to open. But when it does, nose of plum, raisin, hints of fig and dark, rip fruit. On the palate, tannins are strong and balanced with great acid, oak is well integrated. Perfect steak wine. Hint of mint — 10 years ago
Nose is nice and lush bouquet of cassis, hints of cherry, ripe Plum and cedar. On the palate: definitely young and needs some age and air. Great blend with wonderful Cab franc notes to back strong, tight tannins, hints of spice and leather. Fruits are slightly jammy dark fruits with bright red cherry. Needs age — 10 years ago
Great spice, wonderful balance. Full fruit and strong tannins. Great steak wine for sure. Id go with a ribeye on this one. Could use some more softness or fruit. Overall a nice wine but a touch harsh. Definitely needs food. Washes down steak beautifully — 10 years ago
I LOVED the 2010. The 2011 is a bit darker in fruit with more american oak notes. Gorgeous lush nose. Palate shows excellent balance with acid, velvety tannins and stewed, ripe fruit. Age worthy for sure. — 10 years ago
Nose present full dark fruit and lots of American oak. Herbs, leaves, and earth. On the palate the petite Syrah is prevalent on the palate with juicy fruits. Great spice integrated well with soft tannins, acidic edges making it food friendly, and a velvety finish. Could use a few years in the bottle — 10 years ago

Nose is full of fresh ripe fruit, cedar and tobacco. Wonderfully ripe fruit with smoky accents, definitely has the Rutherford dust. Excellent value and age worth for 5-10+ — 10 years ago
