2016 is much more mellow than the 2013 and 2015 vintages. It is still big on the darker fruit flavors that are common to the Adelaide valley, and has a standard long smooth finish with a bit of an oaky aftermath. Delicious with a smoked ribeye steak! — 7 years ago

Immediate flavor ramp up to a sweet and juicy fruit forward. As the taste mingles and finishes, an earthy-Pinot like transition appears with a touch of wood; but it is not oaky and distracting.
