2008 vintage. 10 years on drinking great now with a window extending at least 5-6 years. Spice dominates with cinnamon & nutmeg, good fruit of strawberry, cherry , along with earthy components. Will be a perfect Thanksgiving wine. — 6 years ago
Very nicely aged Brunello. Leather, tobacco, sour cherries, dust. Perfect with pasta or a good piece of pork.... — 6 years ago
Nice wine. Dark berries, a bit of a mineral element. Definitely not a CA bomb - which is a good thing.... — 7 years ago
A solid older wine. Tertiary flavors. Tobacco, leather, dried, dark berries. Probably better 5 years ago but still a very nice wine. Needed 20 minutes to aerate off a bit of funk. — 6 years ago
Love this wine. 1996 was an awesome vintage and it is drinking perfectly right now. Tannins have softened and it is easy to drink. Still black cherry flavors with tar, floral and tobacco notes. Old Barolo rules! — 6 years ago
2007 - very nice. Tannins smoothed out, a rich wine, complex with dark berries, spice and a touch of earth. — 7 years ago
Dec 2018 and this is drinking beautifully. Dried cherry with hints of black tea and tar. A rich Brunello with a number of years to go. — 6 years ago
This is awesome Nebbiolo! Still very young with many years of development ahead. Cherry, rose, tar, tobacco. Very deep still with good tannins 14 years on. A great vintage from a great producer! Worth the money! — 6 years ago
Very nicely aged Bordeaux. 15 years on the tannins are resolved, the fruit is evident but absolutely no rough edges. Cherry and a hint of tobacco on the mid palate. Excellent with a simple dish! — 6 years ago

Nice wine with dried cherries, leather and earth. Other vintages have been stronger. Drink this one in the next couple of years... — 6 years ago
