Paired brilliantly with spicy Indian food. — 5 years ago
Blue cheese, smoke and leather hit you on the nose. Black currants come through at the end. Finish is a little tight and short with thin fruit. Let’s see how it opens up. — 5 years ago
Earthy and slightly sour blueberries. Nothing great but ok. Not as much dirt flavor as French pinots but more than most CA ones. — 5 years ago
Blueberry, strawberry, vanilla, lemongrass combine with a hint of honeysuckle on the nose. It needed about 30 minutes to open up and it was very reserved with the first pour. The oak hits hard with strong cherry flavor as you drink this 2016 vintage. Paired nicely with a shrimp, scallop and lobster fra diavlo linguine, but needed food. On its own it was a bit tight and dry. — 5 years ago

Sharp mineral nose with light fruit coming through. Taste is the same. A bit sharp and thin. Not horrible but lacking the fruit notes I expect from a willamette Pinot. — 5 years ago
Black currants, chocolate and anise dominate the nose. Fruit comes through the palette with a slightly sharp finish. — 5 years ago

Rich blackberry and ripe cherries blend with vanilla, lightly charred oak and a hint of dark chocolate on the nose. Fruit forward taste that ends with a medium long finish that provides a touch of anise at the end. Great wine but gets a bit dry as it opens up. I love oakville cabs. — 5 years ago
