The cherries punched me right in the face! Then the cola and beef jerky made it all better. Long Jolly Rancher finish! — 10 years ago

Really nice - was afraid it would be too tannic at only 2015, but this 2011 was tasty. Enjoyed with Italian at a nice BYOB. That's living! — 9 years ago
Blackberry jam, black tea, figs - very tasty! — 10 years ago

Had this to kick off a great SA wine night. Enjoyed the juicy, tarry stank of this wine. Pretty heavy for a first wine but did a great job stacking up to the cheese starters! — 11 years ago
Stupid good - not fully mature by a long shot - but old enough! — 10 years ago
Black, dusty fruit - root beer, bouquet garni. Duh am. — 10 years ago
Super tasty -- having the 2009 vintage. Black cherry, cola, baking spices, vanilla, maybe a little meat of some kind. — 10 years ago

Smooth like Santana. Initial hit of RIPE blackberry with cracked green peppercorns. Maybe a little weird but super tasty. Quickly resolving into black cherry licorice. Maybe some cherry coke? But way better. Finishes long and strong - black pepper and a little tangy leather - like an old baseball glove - with tannins just that soft but still asserting themselves. I think I have another one of these - at least I hope so! It is at peak performance but I think it will hold there for quite some time. — 8 years ago
