Smooth like Santana. Initial hit of RIPE blackberry with cracked green peppercorns. Maybe a little weird but super tasty. Quickly resolving into black cherry licorice. Maybe some cherry coke? But way better. Finishes long and strong - black pepper and a little tangy leather - like an old baseball glove - with tannins just that soft but still asserting themselves. I think I have another one of these - at least I hope so! It is at peak performance but I think it will hold there for quite some time.
