Last bottle of the 2 cases we had Still a very solid wine. This being a Bordeaux from Margaux, I recommend an hour (plus) of decanting. The aroma, when we decanted it, was strong with berry, violet and a little leather. At first pour, we tasted more earthy, leather, licorice flavors. This full bodied and well balance wine is fun and complex with several layers of flavors. As the night went on, additional favors of plum, bing cherry and chocolate delighted our taste buds. Although the fish is short, it is very enjoyable. We finished the last bottle around the fire pit with some excellent cigars, amazing friends and great conversation.... And that was an epic finish. — 11 years ago

Ok. A little sweet. — 11 years ago
Very young. Dark ruby in color with a nose of cherry, herb and vanilla. Light on the flavor side. Fruits are muted, a bit earth and a lot of spice. Good food wine. Went well with italian dinner before the show in New York. — 11 years ago
Garnet in color. Muted aromas of licorice and spice. Dry and somewhat simplistic. Great wine with some jazz, cigar and a fire in the back yard. — 10 years ago
This 2006 is open flavorful and ready to drink. It presented a deep ruby red and the aroma of blueberry pleasantly jumped out of the glass. It was open as soon as we opened and poured into the glass. Brilliant flavors of blackberry, blueberry, with a sweet undertone of vanilla. The tannins and flavors were well balance and very enjoyable with a nace but and short finish. We had a couple different Nap Cabs (all under $40) tonight and this one was the clear winner. — 11 years ago
