Gorgeous label. A favorite appellation. I fear that the spicy tacos wolfed down during harvest did not do right by this wine. Would love to taste this again and pay more attention.

Oct 12th, 2013Brownish ruby. Currants, cinnamon, cloves, dry leaves, tobacco and mocha. Lovely wine, but seems to evolve fast.
So, drink up.

Nov 15th, 2020Great balance. Clean, refreshing, fleet-flooded, yet quite a serious glass. Cherry, mint, some underbrush, laurel. Delicate, with really good tension and focus. A treat.

Jun 3rd, 2014Very young. Dark ruby in color with a nose of cherry, herb and vanilla. Light on the flavor side. Fruits are muted, a bit earth and a lot of spice. Good food wine. Went well with italian dinner before the show in New York.
