Transparent ruby, hint of age on the rim. Smells like berry pie, slight menthol/eucalyptus when you smell from the top edge of the glass. Tastes like tart strawberry, cherry, finishing with hints of pepper, cranberry, minerality, dry earth, menthol. Tannins are still FIRM 7 years later, this wine has medium body with a medium finish.
