Zuriah’s pick of light red. But she says it’s darker than most.
Pretty strongly tart but not very bitter for a red wine. Very drying for how not bitter it is. Tiny bit of an almost floral taste — 4 years ago
Tart to start with and then gets bitter. Too bitter for me. Zuriah says it’s a neutral white which I don’t understand but I’m having trouble describing it. Doesn’t really taste cheesy like some — 4 years ago
Zuriah’s pick for deep red. Zuriah says it’s almost too sour for a Cabernet for her (but less than the Berbera she just doesn’t mind it in that style). Apparently “velvety” is the drying tannin-y taste. So I guess I’m not a fan of velvety. I asked Zuriah about the flavor this one shares with the Rose that almost reminds me of the cheesy flavor some whites have and her guess was it’s oak. If so I don’t like strong oaky wines but some oakiness is ok. Zuriah says it smells like coffee and after saying it I smell it a little too like an aftersmell. More like brewed coffee than beans which is better — 4 years ago
White wine. Smells very floral. Tastes and smells like old lady perfume—but I like it a lot. I would consider it a dessert wine but it’s not technically.
The Aromatic White Wine that Zuriah picked.
Alcoholic floral juice.
My favorite at first sip but it’s not complex enough to want to sip it all night. More like candy — 4 years ago
Zuriah’s medium red. Reminds me of France with Milena and Myles and Zuriah so I’m not objective. Seems like a very universal red wine. Zuriah says it’s smoky but not too much. I don’t taste it but I do smell it when she mentions it.
Bold but not bitter. I liked it a lot at first but I feel like all red wine’s unpleasant flavors build more than white wines — 4 years ago
The Rose Zuriah picked for our remote tasting. A light Rose because I said I liked that. The least strong flavor. Very mildly has a distinct white wine flavor. Maybe the slightly cheesy one but not as strong?
Also fairly bitter.
Least favorite it’s like a little bland. — 4 years ago

Very opaque and dark. Feels like a good blend of deep and complex but not overly tanniny — 3 years ago
