Classy wine. Firm tannins structure. Masculine style with bright acidity. Tobacco, coffee, spices, and black fruits interweave together. Nice. — 9 years ago
A white of some weight.
Beautiful golden color suggest its variety and some age. Intense nose filled with ripe fruits, bruised apples, wet wools and some underlying #minerality.
On the palate the body is mid plus, but nicely balanced with mellow but lingering acidity. Flavour intensity strong, with tropical fruits, #bruisedapples and fruit cans. The acidity is not high but aifficient to balance the body and the flavours. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Well-made Bordeaux Sec. Medium lemon-green color and intense, punguent durian fruits, vegetals notes and guava notes. — 9 years ago
Beautiful #floral notes. Pronounced aroma of black berries, spices and #rosepetals notes. A wine of elegance and strength. Made in Valpolicella, using around 30% of #passito grapes, hence the name Arele, which apparently in Italy means the wooden rack for drying the grapes. The wine is made of mostly local grape varieties, including Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, and a splash of Merlot. It tastes round, full body but elegant with bright acidity to support the wine, and long finish. Well made. — 9 years ago
A satiafying Chardonnay with weight and finesse that fits its typicity and New World characteristics. Multi-layered palate and creamy texture. Satisfaction. — 9 years ago
Fat but charming. That's what a good Meursault should taste like. Heavy on oak but with all the finesse retained. Full body yet has beautiful mellow acidity to balance the flavour with. The creamy texture as well as the intense #buttery and tropical fruit notes are to die for. It's good with meal but even better when drinking on its own. — 9 years ago
