Cheap and very cheerful, this has bright citrus and funky earth, tart and dry. Tasted next to an 07 skin-contact Chenin from Spain, which was much more tannic, nutty and complex by comparison. Personally I preferred the Denavolo for its freshness, which excites the palate, though as always it's a question of context.
