After opening up with an hour of decanting, this wine displayed the classic structure and depth of an excellent Brunello. — 7 years ago
Great structure with aromas of black cherry ,allspice and a black licorice finish.
Gives a lot for the price. — 8 years ago
Very earthy and leather with a lot of clove on the finish. Need roasted meat to best enjoy.
Perhaps it was better a few years ago. Certainly still drinkable . — 8 years ago
This is as close as you get with out being able to put aChateau Yquem label on this bottle.
Shared with friends who had no idea what CY was, and they thought it was the greatest desert wine they ever tasted. Can you spell apricot and golden organic honey duet??? — 8 years ago

#Decanted this 2010 for 1.5 hours. Initially it #I chose for my New Year’s eve wine with a grilled ribeye and vegetables. Decanted for1.5 hours. It was really nice but tight and then after about 45 more minutes particular swirling it in the glass it just exploded into one of the best Brunellos I have ever tasted.# would rate it easily at 9.5. — 5 years ago
