Scents of walnut and cedar...notes of black fruit and toasted bread. In the mouth, silkiness and freshness interweave with an excellent web of tannins leading to an excellent and long finish. Probably has ten more years in it...

Very earthy and leather with a lot of clove on the finish. Need roasted meat to best enjoy.
Perhaps it was better a few years ago. Certainly still drinkable .

Despite the stemware, this blew my mind. A clean, pure funk that leads into dark, rich fruit, with a little sea salt, and espresso.

Dark fruit, medium acid, bit of funk. 94 advocate seems extremely high for this.

The 2008 Monteti is a blend of over 50% Petit Verdot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is rich, chewy, with lots of dark fruit, licorice and spices. Tenuta Monteti, with its flagship wine Monteti, is situated in Toscana, Maremma, near Grosetto, not far from the coast. The winery is named after the hill protecting the vines from the Mediterranean sea winds.

Smooth cherries going in, tannins grip going down in best way. Could still use a couple of years.
