Red wine? It’s almost black!! Amazing colour with super subtle yet rich flavours and great length. An absolute gem. Some more time in the cellar should see this just get better. — 3 years ago

At just short of 17 years old, this 2004 is in a good place. It’s front end fruit loaded and in a big way so might not suit everyone’s palette but everything sits nicely in place. It’s integrated. Tannins are rounded/softened, it has a good length. I’d summarise it as very enjoyable! — 4 years ago

ID 314059 based around the 2006 vintage has been in my cellar for 5 years. Paired with truffled cheese and creamy truffled pasta. A match made in heaven. The Krug cuts through and yet melds beautifully with the truffled flavours of the food. Sheer perfection. — 4 years ago

From the renowned 2010 vintage, starting to drink beautifully now. Just the beginning of its drinking window I suspect. Amazing nose of sublime red fruit and forest floor, some cassis, great taste and a lovely long finish. In a good place but should improve. — 5 years ago

John Duval has been doing a lot of things right in the wine world for a long period of time, particularly in Australia. This wine exemplifies his craft. Bold, sublime and fruity with tannins starting to mellow . Could have done with another hour in the decanter to see it at its best.
But what he’s doing with Entity,(a third of the price!, plexus and the recently introduced Integro), this wine makers stellar reputation is going to just get better.
Buy his wine while you can and before everyone else finds out about it!!!!

For a young wine this is pretty special. Already showing some nice rounded, delicious but subtle fruit flavours and integrated tannins. A robust 14.5% alc too!
Not as ‘ in your face fruit forward ‘ as a lot of Aussie wines. Bottle age will only see this move to a better place.

Decanted for 24 hours so that it could open up as it’s so young.
Incredible flavour, complex, red fruits but not too bold and some nuisance too.
Time will serve this well. A winemaker who dances to his own tune and making great music.

Love, love, love this wine from an ex maker of the revered Penfolds Grange and instigator of RWT.
A gem of a wine that punches well above its price point. 18 was a good vintage but this is already drinking well with some development. It’s going to be stellar in 6-8 years.

Bottle 2298/2997. An incredible nose like honeyed, candied red fruits, near impossible to describe. A wonderful taste that transports you to another place with plenty of apples, hints of red currant, plum and other orchard stone fruit.
Reckon this could easily keep improving for 5+ years.
It’s still drinking unbelievably well now.
