Ripe black fruits, blueberries and a hint of eucalyptus. Medium low acidity. Nice sipping wine. Fine with a steak, but not very complex. — 10 years ago
Ripe raspberries, earthy flint. — 10 years ago
Yumm. Decanted and it opened up very nicely. Excellent with grilled steak. Tight tannins opened up to ripe red fruits and anise flavors on the very long finish. Buying more to taste over the coming years. — 10 years ago
2012 vintage. Crisp with medium to medium high acidity. Well-integrated oak. Long finish. — 10 years ago
Disagree with the sommelier who says this has a short finish. Nonetheless, it's not at its peak yet. Good tannins with some aging potential left. Pretty good balance. — 10 years ago
Unmistakable Mosel minerally nose, though not overwhelmingly so. Well balanced acid and ripe apricots. Drank with spicy south Asian lamb and it worked! — 10 years ago
Had the 1967 vintage. First bottle was soft, well balanced and clearly ready to drink. There was still some fruit left. First time tasting a classed Bordeaux of this age. Second bottle was musty and past peak. — 10 years ago
