Aromas and texture were mind bending... Flavors exquisite, black olive charred meat, sweet smoke.... The first sip and I wanted to give it a 10. Finish didn't last quite as long as I expected, but perhaps I was expecting too much. — 9 years ago

Ever so slight hint of prunes from ripe plums on the nose, juicy fresh grape flavors, mid palate of earth, cedar, & acid that causes cleansing salivation across the tongue... 2007 vintage firing on all cylinders, and at a high moment, from a producer of magical Zinfandels... it's the next morning, and I'm still craving more. — 8 years ago

2004 out of a 1/2 bottle... Still with plenty of life & years to age, the wine showed concentration, complex integrated flavors, & was well balanced, rich, & delicious. Cassis, cocoa, blackberry compote, pepper... quite the example of Heidi Barrett styled Napa Cabernet. — 10 years ago

Enjoyed this Chard with pan roasted Halibut, nice balance, no holes, & opened up beautifully. Subtle fruit, nice minerality ... Acid was adequate. — 10 years ago
