Complex nose of lanolin, spice, oak, gun flint. Balanced, medium weight, nice acid, rich. Lovely — 4 years ago
Delicious lemony, beeswax, lanolin nose. Super fresh at almost a decade and will surely be brilliant for another 10. Great acidity balancing medium richness. — 4 years ago
A terrific elderly bottle of Gigondas. All earth, herb, and mushrooms, with fruit taking a backseat at this juncture. Not at all tired. Still energetic and lovely. — 4 years ago
Mature, Paulliac aromas of cedar and cigar box. Lovely medium bodied Bordeaux and representative of the vintage — 4 years ago
Nose initially reticent, some reductive notes, peach and apricot in the background. Fresh, green apple, balanced acidity. Delightful wine that should benefit from a couple years of bottle age — 4 years ago
Wonderfully fresh for 20 year Shiraz. Meaty, dark fruited, wonderful balance. Will surely go for several more years but hard to imagine that it could get better than this. — 4 years ago
