The most obvious trait of this 2009 Knights Bridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is its booming power and complexity. Aromas of black cherry, ripe macerated black raspberry, espresso, spice, and dried lavender bound from the glass and continue to reward through a dense, weighty palate. Plush layers of dusty mocha, dark sweet fruit, and cedar surge through a rich mid-palate and unfurl to an expansive finish. Well-integrated oak, fine-grained tannins and lifting acidity lend excellent structure and balance. Our biggest Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to date, this wine will continue to evolve for a decade or more. — 12 years ago

Simply one of the best champagnes available Highly recommend. Krug is identified by its strongly developed and aged nutty lees influence and autolytic notes, a certain oakiness, as well as a combination of disgorgement freshness and oxidative maturity. On the palate, Krug Grande Cuvée commonly display flavors resulting from suppression of the malolactic fermentation, and additional flavors from lees and from barrel fermentation. In addtion to its distinct oakiness, it is almost invariably dry. — 12 years ago

The 2007 vintage of FOURTEEN is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot from all fourteen sub-appellations within the Napa Valley. This wine combines elegant aromas of ripe bing cherries and blackberries with the richness of roasted vanilla and mocha. This is a complex and layered wine, firm tannin structure, moderately dry but plenty of darker fruit and a lasting finish. Enjoy with a nice filet mignon. This wine is reflective of the vintage and is age worthy. — 12 years ago
