Cedar & spice:everything nice, not a hint of mint but supple tannins with bright acidity. — 7 years ago
1982. Label has as many age spots as I do, but it’s inside that counts! Mature, but if I may quote Monty Python, “I’m not dead yet!” Not that I’d want to hold on to it much longer, every sip was cerebral and sensual. — 6 years ago
Silky, supple with a long finish. Baking spices on the nose, red cherry tart, wood is where it belongs, integrated with the wine, not over powering it. 2010 enjoyed in 2016. — 8 years ago
93 vintage- fully mature without being over the hill. Old world in style, great acid, supple tannins. Faded away about an hour after opening. — 8 years ago
1998-lean & mean. Ok, it rhymes, not mean, but lacking suppleness from prolong aging. Didn’t expect much fruit left, but not a whole lot left to enjoy. — 6 years ago
Crisp & aromatic with a rich mouthfeel. Perfect Spring time wine! — 8 years ago

2009, hint of cedar with dark black cherry flavor. Still youthful with several more years ahead, but why wait? — 6 years ago
