93 vintage- fully mature without being over the hill. Old world in style, great acid, supple tannins. Faded away about an hour after opening.

1993. Interesting nose of olive, bell pepper and blackberry. Alive with tart cherry dominating. Will be fun to follow over a couple of hours.

A medium garnet with some bricking on the meniscus, the '93 Leonetti Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon was initially musky, but opened slowly with muted woodsy aromas of cherry, forest floor and menthol. Tart cherry, vanilla and spicy oak on the palate. Well balanced with a smooth lingering finish.
