Birthday splurge for my dad’s 70th. Beautiful fruit still showing but not in a juicy way. Silky texture. Very complex wine that you have to be careful not to chug. Paired great with lamb bolognese. Would have loved to drink this 5 years ago and would love to drink this again 5 years from now. — 7 years ago

Ripe black cherry, cinnamon and chocolate. Unfortunately I fucked up and broke the cork and had to decant. The first glasses poured were sound but the oxygen beat up the old man pretty badly and the second glass wasn’t nearly as beautiful. — 7 years ago
