This was really nice, classically styles, yeast and but with sufficient minerality to be fresh. Dosed pretty high but much love — 5 years ago
First Chinese wine and... it was actually decent! A nice pizza wine. Really heavy on the pencil shavings/graphite nose, with juicy red fruit. Nose seemed hot. Palette was decent with the very fine tannins present at the beginning of the mid and continuing through a medium+ length finish. They actually soften a bit towards the end. An interesting wine that is most comparable to cheap Bordeaux. — 5 years ago
Dsgd 12/1/17 - how does one put this wine into words... it’s sheer complexity and unrivaled structural perfection. Its nose has caramel, mahogany, citrus, berries, flowers all packed into so many layers. The wine changes with air and temperature revealing all things interesting. They attack is so well balanced, as is the entire wine. It’s a black LBD of a wine with sequins all over. Not gigantic but also fully expressive, it sits on a throne of champagne royalty. — 5 years ago
Fresh and singing despite its age! What a beautiful wine - stewed tomatoes, olive oil, white pepper, tomato paste, dried mushrooms.... the whole package. Palette maintained a softness that lasted its full length with very very fine tannins. A joy! Sadly after an hour this wine dropped pretty dramatically - but what a winner, what a wine. Worth the wait! — 5 years ago
Underrated wine! This has a nice nose with some sweetness on the palette that is kept in check with acid. Like the structure of a German Riesling with sauvB notes. Very good for the low low price. — 5 years ago
This was a big Rose - it packs a punch of flowers and candied red fruits, it’s not light on its feet, the palette is pretty expansive for a Rose - it had a bitter cantaloupe thing going on. But it worked. Tannins were present as well. — 5 years ago
